Allison Fisher takes Florida Classic title

Allison Fisher came out on top in the Florida Classic.

Fisher from England defeated South Korea's Ga-Young Kim 7-4 in the final. Melissa Herndon (USA) and Xiaoting Pan (China) finished joint third.

This was her first WPBA win of the season and the 55th title of her career.

The victory solidifies Fisher's top position in the WPBA Rankings. Karen Corr (Ireland) hangs on to second place and Pan stays in third.

The event took place from June 27 - July 1 at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino, Hollywood, Florida, USA. This was the fifth event of eight in the WPBA season. Next up is the US Open, August 1-5.

Corr repeats as Florida winner

Karen Corr (Northern Ireland) successfully defended the Cuetec Cues Florida Classic.

In the final Corr beat arch rival Allison Fisher (England) 7-4. She beat Fisher with the same score in last year's final!

This was her second WPBA win of the season and 19th of her career. The win will cement Corr's 2nd place in the WPBA rankings. Beaten finalist Fisher tops the list.
