The Welsh Open is well underway. It's the fourth ranking tournament of the snooker season. John Higgins, Ding Junhui and Ken Doherty won the previous three.
... but Ronnie "The Rocket" O'Sullivan is once again the favourite. John Higgins and Stephen Hendry are possibly his toughest rivals.

Jaspers wins World Cup in Sluiskil
Dick Jaspers from Netherlands won the 3 cushion World Cup event in Sluiskil, Netherlands. He beat Swedish legend Torbjörn Blomdahl in the final. Trick master Semih Sayginer (Turkey) and Daniel Sanchez of Spain shared third.
