In the final he beat countryman Fong-Pang Chao 11-6 to claim the trophy and $15,000.
The win took Yang to No.1 in Order of Merit. The top three is all-Taiwanese with Jung-Lin Chang in second and Chao in third.
The competition was held May 18-20 at the Kaohsiung Business Exhibition Center, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Next stop is Genting, Malaysia on June 15-17. There are a total of six events in the Tour. The top 10 finishers in the Order of Merit will earn spots in the 2007 World Pool Championship.
